New Vapor interface in new version (pics coming soon)

The new WP7 upgrade leaves us no choice but to change Vapor’s interface or lose some functionality, so you will most likely see a new interface. The new version will be well worth the wait! Pics coming soon!

BTW: A simplified dashboard has been added to Vapor, and it’s awesome!

Vapor: Mango update 50% done

It’s taking some time to get through new ways to do things in Mango, but we’re getting there. Can’t give a timeline for a release, as it hasn’t been decided on how much will be held back and how much will be released in this new version. Also fixing some of the reported bugs, so it should be a good update.

Take care,

Dashboard is coming…

A little behind, but the Dashboard for Vapor is currently being fixed up for the next big release. After some bug fixes, Mango will be on the radar. No exact dates yet…don’t want to hold myself to a date just yet. 😉

Bboy Terrible-T – Session #232

A 30-min mix of afro, latin, deep, soulful house music.
Artwork by Willie Bester:
Willie Bester has tried to touch-base an important theme in his creation named Semakazi. Bester is a yet another progressive thinker who has tried to depict the condition of migrant workers in South Africa. The art work outlines the fact that during those times, none of the migrant workers received a pension or a secure and respectable retirement, once their tenure was over.
This painting is a collage of images depicting various aspects of his life. At the centre, there is Semekazi’s bed which has been shown in the form of a prison, in which he has been captivated. In the foreground, there is a bible which has been connected to the bed by a chain. The illustration symbolizes that during those times, African nations were run on Christian beliefs. To the left of the bed, there is an image of a family which clearly states that Willie always aspired to lead a family life.

Marketplace now open for Mango app submission

“We are now accepting and certifying Mango apps through the App Hub! This means that new and existing titles optimized for Windows Phone 7.5 have begun publishing. This is not to say that Mango will arrive on existing devices in the coming days (sorry, not quite yet). It does, however, mean that people running Mango pre-release builds will see these new apps and games. And of course, in addition to new and updated apps for Mango, the nearly 30,000 Windows Phone app and game titles available today will also run on Mango. Learn more about what we’ve added to help bring great Mango apps to market.” – Microsoft
